Phil Sacksman was the first-born son of Alfred Sacksman and was generally regarded by locals as the more successful and less troublesome of the two Sacksman brothers. Unlike his sibling, Chet, Phil embraced the opportunities afforded by his affluent upbringing, choosing to take advantage of the prospects presented to him rather than resist them.

Early Life
Phil Sacksman, also known by the nickname Golden Phil, was a caddy from Rotborough noted for his reputation in local golf circles. Unlike many enthusiasts, Sacksman’s passion lay not in playing golf, but in the role of the caddy, which he regarded as central to the success of the game. He began his career at the Rotborough Country Club (RBCC), assisting his father, Alfred Sacksman. During high school, he joined the Rotborough High School golf team as a caddy and quickly gained recognition when every player he assisted either scored a perfect game or won by a significant margin. His performance earned him multiple scholarship offers and eventually led to the release of a RAGEBoy video game titled Phil Sacksman’s Caddy Simulator 2003. In 1991, Sacksman experienced a public falling out with his former best friend and Rotborough Cows quarterback, William Donahue, after tensions arose over Sacksman’s relationship with Donahue’s then-girlfriend, Roberta Smolley.

Later Years
In his later years, Phil Sacksman experienced success both within and outside of golf. He married Roberta Smolley in 1993 and subsequently assumed control of the family business, NXHealth, after his father, Alfred Sacksman, was committed to a mental health institution following a lawsuit brought against him by former business partner David Warren. However, after the disappearance of his younger brother in July 2004, Phil’s life began to unravel. He reportedly adopted erratic and self-destructive behaviors that echoed those of his brother, eventually leading to his financial ruin. Sacksman spent his remaining years in poverty, living homeless and destitute until his death.

Early Life
Chet Sacksman was born in Rotborough, Missouri in 1981 to Alfred and Jinny Sacksman, the Sacksman family’s second child. Little documentation exists surrounding Chet’s childhood, though presumably he grew up with tremendous wealth due to the success of his father Alfred Sacksman’s health supplement company “NXHealth.” Chet presumably did not finish his high school education at Rotborough High School, with his name not being present in any documentation of graduating classes. It is speculated he was expelled, due to his criminal record painting a picture of antisocial behavior dating as far back as 1993, when Chet was only 12 years old.

Tezticular Torzion
In 1997, Chet formed the nu-metal/punk rock band “Tezticular Torzion.” The band had large success locally in Rotborough, but struggled to gain much attention outside of the local scene. Critically, the band was panned, in part to the mostly undisclosed financial backing from Chet’s father/NXT Health. This, alongside Chet’s wealthy upbringing, caused the wider punk scene to view the band as posers and significantly hindered their success. NXHealth’s financial backing is very evident, with all releases prior to 2000 featuring the brand’s logo, and the band even produced a jingle for NXHealth’s flagship energy Drink Udder Buster in 1998. The branding was dropped in 2000 likely to combat the continued criticism, though it is unknown whether or not the financial backing ceased.

Legal Trouble and Counseling
Between 1993 and 2003, Chet Sacksman was arrested a documented 12 times on charges ranging from public indecency to arson. While fragmented records from the Rotborough Police Department (RPD) offer some insight, the full extent of his legal troubles is difficult to piece together. It is unlikely that Chet served any significant time in jail, presumably due to his family’s considerable wealth and influence in the community. Police reports that do remain, some sourced from incomplete public records and anonymous leaks, frequently cite Chet’s cocaine use.

Archived posts from MyDigitalRot—Rotborough’s now-defunct forum/blog—suggest his drug use was something of an open secret, and Chet’s own posts to Tezticular Torzion’s fan subforum doing little to deny this gossip.

In a 2004 interview, Chet revealed his behavior eventually culminated in his mother issuing an ultimatum: seek counseling or face expulsion from the family home. Sources conflict on the immediacy of this intervention, and some speculate that it was more performative than genuine, with little expectation of long-term change. Chet was ultimately placed under the care of Blue Skies Recovery Group, a mutual-aid fellowship operating out of northern Rotborough along Grace Way. The decision to involve Blue Skies appears to have been heavily influenced by Alfred Sacksman, Chet’s father and CEO of NXHealth. Blue Skies had a documented relationship with NXHealth, frequently promoting the company’s supplements at local events and fundraisers, and NXHealth financially sponsoring events in return.

In a radio interview on KRRB later that year, Chet—promoting his pivot to faith-based music—credited Blue Skies with saving his life, declaring that the group had facilitated his “spiritual rebirth.” However, a deeper dive into police records and MyDigitalRot posts suggests this narrative may have been largely exaggerated, if not entirely fabricated.

Reports of continued arrests following Chet’s enrollment in Blue Skies counseling challenge the sincerity of his transformation. Blog entries from that period, many still recoverable through archived snapshots of MyDigitalRot, reveal erratic posts, self-aggrandizing tirades, and further public admissions of drug use. Chet’s behavior, if anything, appeared to intensify, not improve.

Despite these ongoing incidents, Blue Skies publicly heralded Chet’s rehabilitation as a success. Representatives of the group consistently dismissed concerns from the community and, on at least two recorded occasions, criticized RPD’s handling of Chet’s arrests, suggesting the police had unfairly targeted him. Chet’s subsequent employment at Rotborough Country Club in late 2003 was regularly cited by Blue Skies as proof of his reintegration into society. This claim, however, requires scrutiny. The Sacksman family’s long-standing membership at RBCC—paired with their status as one of the club’s top donor families—raises questions about the legitimacy of this employment. Chet was apparently fired from his position sometime in 2004, but records show this did not affect his membership or benefits at the club.

A shift in Chet’s public persona during this period also coincides with deeper Blue Skies involvement. By early 2004, media appearances show Chet shedding the punk aesthetic he had embraced during his years with Tezticular Torzion. In place of ripped leather jackets and torn band tees, Chet began appearing in preppy, country-club attire—polo shirts and khakis that more closely mirrored his father’s image than his own rebellious roots. He also began a short lived solo music project, apparently with a focus on his newfound religious faith, though none of this music has been recovered.

It is not unreasonable to conclude that Chet and the Sacksman family was failed by Blue Skies. While our documentation tries to maintain an objective tone and we avoid speculation, our thorough research of Rotborough’s missing persons history has pointed to this organization as destructively negligent in the most charitable of eyes. We implore our readers to come to their own conclusions from the information we are working to archive. However, when that work is actively trying to be impeded and censored by bad actors, that adherence to journalistic principles can only extend so far.

Disappearance
On July 18, 2004, Chet Sacksman was reported missing by his mother, Jiddy Sacksman, in a call placed to the Rotborough Police Department (RPD). Available records indicate that the initial missing persons report classified Chet as a voluntary disappearance due to his history of erratic behavior, though details regarding the initial response are fragmented. RPD’s existing documentation is sparse, and formal case files appear to have been lost or misplaced following the dissolution of the department after Rotborough’s collapse.

The day after Chet’s disappearance was reported, on July 19, 2004, RPD received a separate call regarding the disappearance of Timothy Rosewald, a groundskeeper employed by Rotborough Country Club (RBCC). While official records connecting the two cases are missing, personal accounts and posts recovered from Chet’s MyDigitalRot page suggest ongoing conflict between the two. In May 2004, Chet accused Rosewald—both publicly online and in forum discussions—of being responsible for his termination from RBCC. A single released by Chet’s band, Tezticular Torzion, titled "Kill a Snitch" (June 2004), is widely believed to reference Rosewald, though this connection was never formally established in police reports.

Chet’s last confirmed sightings occurred on July 17, 2004, the day prior to his reported disappearance. Eyewitness accounts—collected from archived interviews and secondhand statements—place him at Rotborough Country Club early that morning. Multiple sources, including club staff, recalled seeing Chet in the vicinity of the maintenance shed, reportedly loading Royal Greens fertilizer bags into a golf cart. Surveillance records from the club’s security system, if they ever existed, have not been recovered.

A purchase receipt dated 4:34 PM from Feldman’s Family Grocery lists several items under Chet’s name, including bleach, a hacksaw, and a shovel. While these items were flagged in subsequent investigations, no public explanation was provided for their purchase. At approximately 6:00 PM, security camera footage from the Stop n’ Slop truck stop purportedly captured Chet exiting onto I-44 in his father’s black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. Reports indicate an unidentified individual was visible in the passenger seat. Attempts to locate the footage through RPD archives have been unsuccessful, with references to the video appearing only in secondary police notes. The footage was never released to the public.

On July 21, 2004, remains were discovered north of I-44 in a remote, wooded area approximately three miles from the nearest exit. The remains were identified as belonging to Timothy Rosewald. Available case files, though incomplete, describe the body as dismembered and concealed in Royal Greens fertilizer bags. The bags were found next to a partially dug hole. Approximately 300 feet from the burial site, the black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Chet was located, keys still in the ignition.

Footprint impressions, consistent with the shoe size worn by Chet, were found leading away from the driver’s side of the truck toward the burial site. Notably, no return footprints were identified leading away from the scene. While no conclusive evidence indicated foul play in Chet’s disappearance, this detail led investigators to hypothesize that Chet may have been killed while attempting to dispose of Rosewald’s remains. However, without physical evidence of Chet’s death at the scene, the theory remained speculative.

Investigation
Chet Sacksman was never officially named a suspect in the murder of Rosewald despite the mountain of evidence pointing to him as at the very least an involved party with a clearly plausible motive and criminal history. Despite our best efforts researching all available documents in our archive, almost nothing in terms of substantial pushback on the investigation was found. It is unclear whether the community at broad was satisfied with the outcome, or that dissenting voices were subject to censorship efforts from particular groups. The focus of investigators largely turned to Chet’s disappearance as the murder case quickly went cold with no significant leads in regard to the proposed 3rd individual involved.

During a press appearance held discussing Chet’s disappearance, Alfred Sacksman expressed a confounding level of indifference and confidence that Chet was alive and well. From archived excerpts that exist, it appears most of his time speaking was spent promoting new products from NXT. He expressed that he firmly believed the narrative that Chet had embarked on a spiritual journey of some nature, adding that it was likely Alfred’s own pilgrimage in the Amazons, that inspired his son. This theory had been propagated by the Blue Skies Recovery Group, with multiple of its members attesting to Chet expressing interest in the idea during his group counseling sessions. Gray Jones, the then Mayor of Rotborough and co-founder of Blue Skies, went as far as to tell the press that Chet formally told him of this plan weeks before but insisted that Jones was not to disclose them to his family as to not cause them to intervene with his healing. This explanation is incredibly unconvincing, when accounting for the fact that no change of clothes or other necessities were found in Chet’s car, nor was anything indicating plans to move in his room at the Sacksman family home.

Little information on Timothy Rosewald has been archived, but it is presumed he did not have any living family which, along with the Sacksman family’s apparent lack of concern for Chet’s whereabouts, presumably contributed to the lack of scrutiny. Furthermore, archived posts on MyDigitalRot reveal that the community at large had come to view Chet as a nuisance, and with him falling out of favor with Tezticular Torzion’s fanbase due to his transition to faith-based music, there was unlikely very much pressure on local law enforcement to complete a more thorough investigation, and it is unfortunately unlikely any more answers will be found in regards to the case.

Fall Out From Disappearance
While it appears the case of Chet’s disappearance blew over rather quickly and without fanfare, one of the few people to seem affected was his older brother, Phil Sacksman, a professional golf caddy and local celebrity. It is unknown whether or not Phil expressed any concerns publicly, but there was a marked turn in his career immediately following the disappearance. Accounts detailing Phil’s poor caddying performances began to circulate as early as forum posts from September of 2004, and photos of Phil vomiting and falling asleep after a supposed drunken meltdown were distributed in local tabloids not long after. Though he was already an open alcoholic and prominent figure in Rotbrough’s nightlife scene, these meltdowns betrayed the image of a playboy bachelor Phil was known for.

By the end of 2004, it appears he was dropped by all of his sponsors outside of NXT, his father’s company, and production on the next title in his eponymous videogame series, “Phil Sacksman’s Caddy Simulator 2004”, had been canceled according to Rageboy Monthly. Between 2005-2007 multiple reports document arrests ranging from public drunkenness to domestic battery, and though no formal documentation is known to have been filed a split from his wife was thoroughly reported. Little is known of Phil’s current situation, though rumors of him being homeless and panhandling from some time in 2007 were purported by the local gossip radio program “The Secret.”
Vasey
A core component of Growing Minds’ intake process is an online diagnostic test, administered through an interactive character named Vasey, an anthropomorphic vase with a flower growing from its head. The test walks children through hypothetical social scenarios and assigns them a cognitive-emotional profile. Children found to have “problems” are given a numbered referral code and are encouraged to schedule appointments with affiliated child psychologists. These psychologists, including a figure known as Dr. Amaryllis, are described as “board certified,” though no certifying body is specified.

Vasey appears to have been at least an attempt to build out a larger licensed character by Growing Minds, with the online test featuring several side characters with individual looks, including Vasey's friends "Bud" and "Lily." It is unlikely these special characters would have been created solely for this test, and were likely part of a bigger plan for these characters, such as licensed merchandise or a TV show, though attempts to find any evidence of these has so far been fruitless.

Collaborations
Growing Minds is listed as a sponsor of the now-defunct Boy’s Friendship Foundation (BFF) and the NXHealth website directly promotes Growing Minds' services in relation to their legal settlements. The nature of these affiliations remains unclear but has drawn scrutiny from independent researchers due to overlapping personnel and funding sources.

Blue Roan Bar & Grill was a bar and restaurant in Rotborough, Missouri, which also functioned as a live music venue. The establishment was locally known as “the bar with a giant horse on top” due to the large horse statue mounted on its roof.

History
The bar first opened its doors in 2002. For several years it operated quietly, attracting little public attention outside of serving as a regular venue for performances by the band Tezticular Torzion, with the website advertising an apparent constant rotation of live performers. The disappearance of Luke LaChance later brought the establishment into local focus, tying it to the broader mystery surrounding his case as it was the last place Luke was seen when he was alive.

Due to the absence of surviving physical records, most information about Blue Roan Bar & Grill has been reconstructed through archived versions of its website preserved by the Rotborough Time Machine. The bar has since become a minor point of interest within Rotborough folklore.

Staff and Patrons
Little documentation exists regarding the ownership of Blue Roan. Surviving police records from the disappearance case of Luke LaChance briefly mention Sebastian Vonora being employed as a bartender at Blue Roan, though this is confusing given that Vonora was operating his own business, Curtain Call Blinds and Shades, at this time.

Recovered reviews from MyDigitalRot forums of the establish mention hostile staff and irregular business hours, with multiple users reporting they had been pressured to leave the establishment shortly after entering. Other users questioned how the establishment stayed in business with exceptionally low turnout.
Jester Pizza is a medieval-themed pizza restaurant chain highly regarded for its affordable food and free entertainment

History
The company was founded by Mayor Gray Jones in 1996. It was initially launched as a pet project for Mayor Gray, but since Rotborough lacked a pizza restaurant it quickly became a success. It first opened its doors in March of 1996.

Humiliation
In May 1999, an incident involving an unnamed employee reportedly led to the introduction of the company’s signature singing and dancing delivery service. According to local accounts, the employee had been involved in a dispute and was compelled by Mayor Gray Jones to make a delivery while singing and dancing, as a form of disciplinary action. Contrary to its intended purpose, the performance was well received by the customer, who later visited the store to express enthusiastic praise. Following the unexpected positive feedback, Jones made the decision to incorporate singing and dancing into the standard delivery experience.

Sexual Malpractice
In December 2001, allegations surfaced after an off-hours employee claimed to have discovered that Mayor Gray Jones was using the Jester location as a private bordello. The revelation sparked internal controversy and raised concerns about the misuse of company property for personal purposes. While no formal investigation was publicly documented, the incident became a topic of local speculation and contributed to growing scrutiny surrounding Jones's management and mayoral practices. This was further amplified, causing somewhat of a Streisand Effect where the mayor's private and personal life began to be the center of local fascination and scrutiny. This initial fascination and interest was spearheaded by 90.3 The Secret, through it's radio broadcasts and online blind item website These sexual escapades persisted as far as December of 2004. 90.3 The Secret was a radio show hosted by several anonymous people with its main goal being spreading gossip and rumors of the events of Rotborough, Missouri.

During its period of operation, the station was known for disseminating half-truths, rumors, and unverified claims targeting local businesses, residents, and the mayor. Its official website (archive available here) regularly published "blind items"—anonymously written entries that often consisted of speculative or fictitious gossip lacking verifiable sources.

History
While initially founded as a public forum for the community due to plummeting ratings they eventually switched over to being a shock jock/rumor mill style show in 1990. The often biting critical and blunt style of the show lead them to face many controversies and scandals. The most notable involving a missing persons case in June of 1990 as well a lengthy and ugly legal battle with Mayor Gray Jones. This however seemed to result in an upswing in interests surrounding the goings-on of the mayor as the entire town began to pay closer attention to his escapades and sexual endeavors and orientation. In July 2001, The Secret launched a blind item forum site. The archive of which with Rotborough Time Machine capabilities are available by clicking here.

The Rotborough Country Club (RBCC) was a privately owned club available to the elite of Rotborough. It was founded and owned by Alfred Sacksman. It hosted an array of gala events and sponsored sports championships in activities such as golf, tennis, and lacrosse. Many of the public and private events from parades and community outreach programs were paid for or sponsored by the RBCC.

Controversy and The Sacksman Family
Many controversial things took place at the RBCC in relation to the Sacksman Family. Namely surrounding the youngest son Chet. Leading up to his disappearance Chet was responsible for 9 individual incidents including the murder of Timothy Rosewald. Beyond this and a handful of other strange events, RBCC has seen many bizarre events take place over the years. For instance in May of 2000, Gordon David Brimley III "assassinated" Alfred Sacksman's beloved koi fish in the ponds of the golf course for no discernible reason. He was playing on the 7th hole of the famous "Green Loop" on the grounds when suddenly and without warning he mercilessly beat the fish, named "Onizuka" to death, and returning to the game to shoot a 54 as if nothing happened. Brimley was subsequently arrested, ordered to pay a fine and was banned for life from the country club. This however wasn't even the only instance of death involving wildlife, as in August of 2002, an alligator was found on the course and had killed golfer Roland Presley Stansfield as he was retrieving his ball from the 5th hole pond. And later that same day a venomous cobra bit Wilma Robertson on the tennis court of the RBCC. Fortunately however, in the case of Robertson, she survived her injuries. How these two rare and exotic reptiles found their way to the golf course is till a mystery, as the Rotborough Zoo did not have any of these animals as apart of their collection of animals. And alligators and cobras are not native to Missouri.

RotPlay was a video game publishing division of RotToys, likely created to support the company’s proprietary line of home consoles, most notably the RageBoy series. All known RotPlay titles were developed in collaboration with software developer SkySoft, though it remains unclear whether SkySoft operated as an independent studio or as part of the same corporate structure. The existence and operations of RotPlay are known only through surviving promotional materials and limited digital archives of its software catalog, with no formal corporate records publicly available.
Early Life
Alfred "Al" Sacksman (born June 23, 1951) is an American entrepreneur and self-styled health guru best known for founding NXHealth, a controversial health and wellness company established in the late 1980s Sacksman claims the inspiration for NXHealth came during a hallucinogenic experience while traveling through South America, which he described as a "visionary awakening" that led him to pursue the physical and legal boundaries of human performance and wellness.

Born to Fredrich W. H. Sacksman and Allegra Jennifer Sacksman, Alfred was raised in affluence. His family accumulated substantial wealth through early ventures in real estate, allowing him access to elite educational institutions and luxury from a young age. Little is documented about his early life prior to high school, though anecdotal reports from locals describe him as well-regarded during his adolescence.

Sacksman’s public image shifted dramatically following a major product recall in 2004 that drew national attention and cast scrutiny on NXHealth’s practices.

Founding of Pharma-Med Health and Wellness
In 1973, Sacksman co-founded Pharma-Med Health and Wellness alongside longtime friend and college classmate David Warren out of the chemistry lab in William Carey College. The company was initially established with the mission of developing and distributing supplements and pharmaceutical products aimed at enhancing longevity and overall wellness. In the following years, Sacksman and Warren identified a significant gap in the market for performance-enhancing and sports-related supplements. Recognizing the commercial potential, the company shifted focus to capitalize on the emerging demand, eventually positioning itself as an early player in the performance supplement industry, eventually renaming to NXHealth following a lawsuit and falling out with David Warren.

In 1980, Sacksman returned to his hometown of Rotborough, where he discovered that both of his parents had experienced a significant decline in mental health. They were subsequently diagnosed with adult early-onset dementia. Over the next two years, Sacksman continued to manage Pharma-Med remotely, but the mounting personal stress began to take a toll. Seeking relief and clarity, he embarked on a series of international travels, eventually participating in multiple ayahuasca retreats deep in the Peruvian jungle. Upon his return home in 1987 Sacksman called Warren and the two had an almost 6 hour phone call talking about the future of the company. Warren was apparently blown away by his words and was convinced to take the company in a new direction. They then decided to rebrand as NXHealth, in early 1988.

Rebranding to NXHealth
According to internal NXHealth documents, these experiences had a profound and lasting psychological impact on Sacksman. Following his return, employees noted a marked change in his demeanor and leadership style. He reportedly became increasingly erratic and combative, often delivering unprovoked tirades against perceived industry rivals. Sources within the company also suggest that he began aggressively testing the boundaries of regulatory standards, pushing for the inclusion of controversial and unapproved ingredients in NXHealth’s supplement formulations. Eventually culminating in a lawsuit filed against the two in 1989.

Lawsuit and aftermath
Court documents and private recordings provided by former employees during the lawsuit against NXHealth revealed the true extent of the madness that occurred at NXHealth. With audio recordings of Research and Development meetings demonstrating the unhinged and often nearly incomprehensible babble on display by Sacksman. His sometimes dangerous and schizophrenic ideas began to seriously and inalterably ruin company morale and it soon became evident that a leadership change was necessary if the company was going to last. It was in April of 1989 when the company faced a wrongful death suit when the family of James Eugene Carson suffered a Myocardial Infarction (a heart attack) as a result of NXHealth's now discontinued Herba-Boost tea. The plaintiff's family argued that the 650mg of caffeine contained within the tea greatly exceeded the federally regulated limit (400mg), and caused James to suffer a heart attack and pass away. The autopsy preformed on James proved that the caffeine content was a significant factor in his death. In January 1990, NXHealth, Sacksman, and Warren settled with Carson's family for a staggering $25 million dollars. After the lawsuit was settled, Warren soon became the target of Sacksman's rage with him blaming the lawsuit and its conclusion on Warren. Even though Sacksman ultimately had final say of what ended up in each product. This proceeded until Warren eventually stepped down as COO in 1991 following a particularly violent argument had during a team meeting with Sacksman with Warren pressing charges against Sacksman for assault. Sacksman was placed on house arrest and admitted to a mental institution following the outcome of the assault case, which resulted in his oldest son Phil Sacksman taking control of the company.

1993-1999
Following his release from a court ordered sentence in a mental institution. Sacksman returned to his company to find that the new face and young blood his son brought to the company resulted in a resurgence in popularity, primarily among people aged 16-24. This was due in no small part to Phil's already established celebrity status as a famous caddy and his interesting and creative marketing campaigns. One of which later involved his younger brother Chet Sacksman and his band "Tezticular Torzion". (1998) Not much of note occurred between this time other than a noticeable increase in sales and popularity among NXHealth's new line of products and a substantial decrease in Alfred's previously documented insanity, as well as his purchase of the Rotborough Country Club. (RBCC)

2000-2004
At the beginning of 2000 Alfred's youngest son Chet was beginning to exhibit extremely violent and erratic outbursts. It was discovered in October of 2001 that Chet's drug addiction had reached a critical point resulting in a psychotic break during a black tie gala hosted at RBCC. This in turn began to upheave rumors that maybe the Sacksman's had a genetic history of mental illness.

{{Quote|I came home from college to find my parents gravely afflicted with what doctors later diagnosed as early adult onset dementia. I was HEARTBROKEN to say the least. My father was always a driving force behind everything I did and to see him wither away like that KILLED MY HEART. My mother had no fairer fate on my heavy soul.

The Boy’s Friendship Foundation (BFF) was a charitable organization operating in Rotborough, Missouri with the stated mission of supporting children recovering from serious illnesses, created in the name of Boy the Cow and operated at least in some capacity by ROTCAN, who broadcast Boy's Friendship Ranch and largely managed Boy's media presence as a local celebrity.

History
According to promotional material published on the My Pet Boy website, BFF primarily focused on aiding local children experiencing loneliness, bullying, and other social difficulties during hospital stays. The foundation claimed to offer emotional support and community-based outreach, positioning itself as a supplemental care provider for families receiving treatment at Saint Mary's Baptist Holy Redemption Regional Medical Health Memorial Children’s Hospital.

Over time, BFF expanded its public programming to include after-school services, volunteer opportunities, and local fundraising events. Notably, the foundation was sponsored by NXHealth, Growing Minds Learning Center, and the Kidz 4 Mayor Gray After School Initiative, all of which were tied in various ways to Rotborough’s private and municipal sectors. BFF’s most visible contribution involved the reported donation of RageBoy consoles and school supplies to pediatric care units, in partnership with the game publisher Rotplay during the promotional cycle for My Pet Boy. Part of this initiative included a retail release of Boy the Cow plushies in collaboration with RotPlay's parent company, RotToys.

While the foundation presented itself as a grassroots, service-driven nonprofit, few independent records of its actual outreach exist, and no verified lists of recipients have been recovered. The organization’s internal structure, financials, and board membership remain largely undocumented.

== Company Beginnings ==

NXHealth was founded in 1974 by Alfred Sacksman and his college classmate David Warren in California. The company initially positioned itself as a manufacturer of sports supplements and performance-enhancing health products, with early marketing campaigns promoting NXHealth as a brand driven by innovation, accessibility, and “science for the everyday body.” According to internal company literature, Sacksman was the creative/visionary force behind the product line, while Warren handled logistical and business operations. [SUPPORTING EVIDENCE: Archived marketing brochures, employee interviews].

Public statements from Sacksman, including a “Meet the CEO” available on an archived snapshot of the NXHealth site, paint a dramatically different account of the company's origins. In it, Sacksman claims to have returned to Rotborough in the early 1980s after his parents fell ill with what he describes as “early adult onset dementia.” His account blends biographical detail with self-mythologizing, describing a world-spanning spiritual journey culminating in a revelatory experience in the Peruvian Amazon. There, Sacksman reportedly encountered a form of “ancient wisdom” that inspired his long-running philosophy of “HACK YOUR BODY™”—a phrase he would later trademark and incorporate into NXHealth’s branding. Interestingly, in the same excerpt, Alfred claims to have formed NXHealth with an unnamed individual he met on this trip - directly contradicting actual documentation that cites Warren as a cofounder.

Internal company documents and third-party interviews suggest a gradual shift in NXHealth’s research priorities following Sacksman’s return to Missouri. Starting in the mid-to-late 1980s, resources were increasingly funneled into exploratory projects involving hormone regulation, dietary biohacking, and animal-based nutritional compounds. One such initiative reportedly included a bovine-focused R&D program operated out of a converted barn on Sacksman's family property. While officially framed as part of the company’s “rural outreach and field testing program,” the facility was noted by locals and former employees to contain advanced—and in some cases unsanctioned—equipment. [POTENTIAL REDACTION – Site photographs withheld; conflicting testimonies on research legality].

A legal dispute between Sacksman and Warren emerged in 1989, following internal concerns about NXHealth’s shifting direction and Sacksman’s increasingly erratic leadership style. Records confirm that the lawsuit concluded in 1990 with Warren’s removal from the company. While no full transcripts of the proceedings are available, documents obtained by RTF indicate that Sacksman had quietly acquired a controlling share of the company prior to the dispute, effectively ending board oversight and granting him total operational authority. Let's make some fake legal/court documents for this

Following this restructuring, NXHealth adopted a drastically more in-your-face and quasi-spiritual marketing tone, with Sacksman frequently positioning himself as both founder and prophetic figure. Phrases such as “Hack Your Body™” became central to NXHealth’s rebranding throughout the early 1990s.
According to the center’s website, Growing Minds offers tutoring across standard subjects—math, science, reading, social studies—as well as behavioral support services, etiquette coaching (through a sponsorship with [Protagon]), and family counseling.

Along with abstract imagery seeming to reflect the more esoteric ideas in Allen Nella's philosophy, each space contains text that function as pieces of a loose narrative with multiple endings for different exits in the maze. In RTF's testing, the text seemingly could change between users for unknown reasons.
